JobDetails Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensivelogistics and distribution strategy that supports high servicelevels and cost optimization across the supply chain. Managefreight operations for inbound shipments from over 100 suppliers tomultiple distribution centers and a centralized redistribution hub.

Oversee outbound distribution activities delivering millions ofcases annually to thousands of retail locations nationwide. Leadand develop a high-performing team, providing guidance in logisticsexecution, supplier performance, and strategic initiatives.

Collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain planning, anddistribution partners to support supplier optimization andcost-reduction efforts. Establish and manage performance metrics(KPIs) to track transportation efficiency, service levels, and costdrivers. Maintain strong working relationships with third-partyfreight and distribution providers to align on executional goalsand long-term strategy. Evaluate and implement logistics networkoptimizations, including cost modeling and service impact analysis.

Drive regular business reviews with logistics partners, followingthrough on performance improvement plans and corrective actions.

Oversee contract lifecycle management for logistics anddistribution services, including planning and executing RFPs asneeded. Ensure business continuity and risk mitigation throughproactive disaster recovery planning and periodic testing. Monitorindustry benchmarks to ensure competitive service offerings andpricing across all logistics functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’sdegree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or relatedfield. 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics,and distribution leadership roles. Strong freight mgmt and RFP,development optimization, Proven ability to lead cross-functionalteams and manage external logistics partners. Strong analyticalskills, including the ability to interpret complex data and makestrategic decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word,PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is a plus. Skilled in conflictresolution, contract negotiation, and performance management.

Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and the abilityto manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
