As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our team meets the highest standards of food production, customer service, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Manage food preparation and handling processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Train and mentor team members in hospitality management practices and food production techniques. Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies regarding food safety. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during shifts. Assist in scheduling staff to meet business needs while optimizing labor costs. Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial or assistant manager role. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience with inventory control systems and procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with hospitality management principles is a plus. Experience in coffee service or banquet operations is desirable.
