What You’ll Do:

As a Shift Leader, you’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and a pleasant member experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Customer Service:

Greet members and assist with check-ins. Provide potential members with accurate and easy to understand information about Membership Options. Address member alerts promptly and document interactions accurately. Answer any member questions, including providing instruction on proper equipment use. Create memberships for New Members, cancellation documents for ending Memberships, process Membership changes while providing a friendly and professional experience.

Facility Maintenance:

Conduct regular walk-arounds every 30-45 minutes to ensure cleanliness in bathrooms, equipment areas, tanning booths, and other high-touch spaces. Sanitize surfaces and restock cooler drinks, snacks, and supplies as needed. Report all maintenance needs and low inventory to management.

Administrative Tasks:

Process payments while providing a professional and friendly member experience. Report membership change requests to management. Manage cash handling procedures. Answer phones with a professional and friendly attitude while being capable of providing callers with accurate information.

Teamwork & Professionalism:

Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a welcoming environment. Follow company policies such as no cell phones or food at the desk. Ensure your team members are performing their duties and following company policies by providing reminders and instruction as needed. Report any team compliance issues.

Closing Procedures:

Complete all tasks on the closing checklist (e.g., cleaning equipment, organizing weights). Secure the facility by locking doors and setting alarms before leaving.
