We’re seeking a skilled and personable Commercial Airboat Captain to lead narrated tours through one of Florida’s most breathtaking marsh environments. This is your chance to operate a high-performance airboat with up to 15 passengers and give guests a truly unforgettable experience on the water. You’ll help guests experience the real Florida — from up-close encounters with alligators and native birds to the serene beauty of the marsh — all while delivering a fun, informative, and engaging tour.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a commercial airboat through Florida’s marsh environments. Provide fully narrated tours highlighting local wildlife, marsh ecosystems, and natural beauty. Create an exciting, memorable experience for guests of all ages. Educate passengers about Florida’s unique environment and its importance to conservation. Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections and basic maintenance of airboats. Collaborate with the team to maintain tour schedules and deliver excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain’s License. Completed or willing to complete an FWC-approved Commercial Airboat Operator Course. Strong communication and public speaking skills. A genuine passion for Florida wildlife and the outdoors. Physically capable of working in an outdoor, all-weather environment. Professional, guest-focused attitude with strong attention to safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical background or experience with small engine/airboat maintenance. Previous work in ecotourism, wildlife tours, or outdoor guiding. CPR/First Aid certification.
