As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be essential in this fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and give tour to escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about the menu and restaurant services. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering questions regarding the restaurant. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Monitor dining areas for cleanliness and guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly. Utilize Toast host POS systems for managing waitlists and reservations as needed. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to help others contribute to a great team atmosphere. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
