Food Runner/Bussers/Host Uncommon Grill 777 Echo Lake Road, Watertown, CT 06795 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience, showcasing your passion for food service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist in setting up tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and organized. Collaborate with servers to ensure timely service and address any guest requests or concerns. Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food handling and delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Support the culinary team in food preparation tasks when necessary. Skills Strong guest services skills, with a focus on providing an exceptional customer experience. Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred. Excellent customer service abilities, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems for order tracking is a plus. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
