Dining Room Server 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 32 Water Street, Stonington, CT 06355 Job Summary The Stonington Harbor Yacht Club is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Servers to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in food service, with a focus on fine dining, and will excel in customer service and time management. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our guests while ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, offering assistance as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety. Complete closing/side work and event set-up, as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn about menu items is highly desirable.
