Server Another Broken Egg Cafe 1720 A Old Fannin Road, Flowood, MS 39232 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any inquiries or needs they may have. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks. Handle cash register transactions, including cash handling and processing payments. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure guest health and safety. Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow during busy periods. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings effectively. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is an advantage. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe dining environment. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
