Waitress/cashier Emilio’s restaurant and pizzeria 1889 Ridgeway Rd, Toms River, NJ 08757 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and other team members will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to restaurant standards. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met for an enjoyable dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Process payments using the POS system efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but NOT required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the kitchen and restaurant environment.
