The Busser/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery. Help set up and clean dining areas before and after service. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests. Support the waitstaff by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and assisting with any additional needs. Adhere to food handling and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Experience in customer service, preferably within the food industry or hospitality sector. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. A proactive attitude towards helping others, whether it be guests or fellow staff members.
