The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately using the OpenTable system or other point-of-sale software. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance with menu selections, accommodating dietary restrictions when possible. Process payments using the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Uphold health and safety regulations within the food service environment. Skills Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in the food industry is preferred, including familiarity with culinary practices. Proficient in time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of cash register operations and basic math skills for processing transactions. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Previous experience with bussing duties is advantageous but not required.
