Server/Waiter Spring Valley Supermarket Mount Ivy, NY 10970 Overview We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and charismatic Server to join our team at a classic American diner. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, provides outstanding service, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience as a server is required, and a positive attitude is a must. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Take food and beverage orders accurately and input them into the POS system. Serve meals promptly, ensuring presentation and temperature meet house standards. Engage with guests, offer menu suggestions, and upsell daily specials. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables and service stations. Respond quickly and professionally to guest questions or concerns. Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Handle payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures. Requirements Previous server experience in a restaurant, diner, or similar setting is required. Must be dynamic, personable, and a strong team player . Enjoys working with people and creating a welcoming dining experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus, but not required.
