Job Summary:

The Restaurant Support Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of a restaurant by assisting both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. They are responsible for various tasks such as cleaning, organizing, assisting servers and kitchen staff, and maintaining a positive guest experience. This position requires a proactive, team-oriented individual who can handle a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring an inviting atmosphere. Support the front-of-house team with tasks like refilling water glasses, delivering utensils, and preparing tables for new guests. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, menus, and high-touch surfaces throughout the shift. Front-of-House:

Assist servers with carrying food and beverages to tables. Help clear and reset tables between guests, ensuring prompt service turnover. Refill condiment stations, napkin dispensers, and ensure general tidiness of dining areas. Stock side stations with necessary supplies like silverware, napkins, and glasses. Assist with opening and closing duties, including locking up, turning off lights, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized. Perform other duties as directed by restaurant management.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred but not required.

Skills:

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Availability:

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
