Server Bj’s Market St. Tavern & Oyster Bar 17 North Market Street, Selinsgrove, PA 17870 Bjs Market Street Tavern & Oyster Bar is looking for a Server We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and personable individual to join our team as a Server. This position is in our Selinsgrove, PA location.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant Deliver food and drink orders to guests in a timely manner Take food and drink orders from the guests in the restaurant Answer questions about menus, menu prices, special offers, and other information that may be of interest to guests. Inform the guest that their meal is being served when it has been prepared. Inform the guest that there are waiting lists for some of our tables.

Cleaning Up:

Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and kitchen by keeping tables and workstations clean, sanitized, and presentable. Maintaining the cleanliness of all dining areas including but not limited to keeping tables clean, sanitized, and presentable. Other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with management and other employees at all times. Must have excellent time management skills in order to be able to work at a fast pace in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for long periods of time; must be able to bend, reach, twist at waist height; must be able to stand for long periods of time; must be able to walk for long periods of time; must be able to walk on hard surfaces such as tile; must be able to use proper tableware cleaning chemicals.
