Job Description
Position Summary
Provides decision support, business intelligence, and process improvement for Compensation within Human Resources Total Rewards. Develops advanced analysis, reports, forecasts, and modeling of critical Compensation functions and workforce metrics for Orlando Health. Rapidly synthesizes complex data from multiple sources to create strategic and actionable reports, dashboards, and tools. Transforms raw data into business intelligence to drive key HR and workforce decisions using appropriate methods, data visualization, and advanced tools.
Responsibilities
Documents and standardizes compensation processes, methodologies, and workflows to enhance team efficiency and support continuous improvement.
Develops standard operating procedures to hardwire best practices within the Compensation team.
Collaborates with leaders and the Compensation team to develop alignment models and market pricing reports for enterprise-wide, regional, and departmental staffing alignments.
Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends in market data to support workforce management decisions.
Creates new job codes and pay plans to support Orlando Health’s departmental and regional structure.
Partners with functional subject matter experts for compensation data reporting.
Consults with stakeholders to assess data and analytics needs; recommend strategies, methods, and analyses to improve decision-making.
Develops custom dashboards, reports, and workflow process improvements using advanced technologies and data visualization tools, including Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate.
Provides standard definitions for Compensation data metrics to ensure consistency.
Reviews internal processes and workflows; recommends improvements and realignment.
Develops templates for common requests to standardize and streamline work.
Maintains the Compensation data structure, adjusting as needed.
Manipulates data from disparate sources to provide regular and ad hoc reporting.
Maintains and updates Compensation dashboards and ongoing standard reports.
Assists users in reviewing data (dashboards) and provides training as needed.
Liaises with HRIS and the HR team to identify opportunities for improving data management and analytics.
Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
Ensures compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Computer Science, or related field required.
Licensure/Certification
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI PHR, HRCI
SPHR, or WorldatWork CCP Preferred
Experience
Three (3) to Five (5) years of related experience in Compensation, Workforce Analytics, Operational Finance, or Process Improvement within a healthcare setting or similarly complex environment.
Advanced skills in Excel.
Experience developing reports and solutions using Power BI and Power Automate preferred
Familiarity with workflows, particularly as related to Compensation and HRIS.
