The opportunityThe Assistant Director ofMilitary Education Benefits•Veterans Affairs Processing, willoversee the responsibilities related to the processing andenrollment reporting for Chapter 31, Veteran Readiness & EmploymentProgram-VR&E, for our online and campus student population. Youwill engage and collaborate with the department and universitypartners to achieve solutions to improve the military studentexperience. You will also provide management and oversight ofmilitary benefit education specialists following SNHU’s core valuesand are dedicated to meeting the requirements of the University’sneeds and mission.

This is a remote friendly position (#LI-Remote)and you will report to the Director of Military EducationBenefits.

In this role: You will lead important projects to improve the militarystudent experience in processing military benefits. You will oversee and maintain the Tungsten Network Portal forVR&E authorization form processing and invoicing. You will build relationships and communicate withrepresentatives of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) dailyand guide communication between the VA and SNHU. You will oversee training modules for new team members andCompass Learning. You will collaborate within the team to improve and design ourdaily practices. You will increase excellence in service through ongoingdepartment support and calibration. You will establish, maintain, and advance quality assurance formilitary benefit processing. You will represent the Military Benefit Team in department anduniversity projects to enhance the student experience. You will provide direct, open, and honest feedback to promoteengagement, collaboration, and communication to increasesuccess. You will perform other related responsibilities to supportMilitary Benefits, Student Financial Services, and Universitygoals.

What we’re looking for: A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recent experience inmilitary benefit processing including VR&E Program and theTungsten Network Portal to ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements. 2+ years of recent experience with Enrollment Manager, Banner,PowerBI, and Argos reporting platforms. Experience managing a team. A thoughtful mindset to promote and improve daily operationsand practice.

CompensationThe annual pay range for this position is$56,752.00•$90,821.00. Actual offer will be based on skills,qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition torelevant business considerations.
