Weare America’s largest, independent propane company with more than80 locations in 12 states. Due to our culture, these positions havevery little turnover. Our Branch Office Specialist are a primary,first line of contact for our customers. They answer the phones,perform administrative tasks by computer, post payments, do regularlight mechanical work, and promote/sell Blossman’s core line ofappliances and services. The position blends customer-care,computer work, utilization of hand tools / physical work andconsultative selling. A primary responsibility is the loading andunloading of portable propane tanks for customers, filling thetanks safely, and working on the tank warehouse area, cuttinggrass, and other duties on a regular basis.

Key qualificationsinclude:

High school diploma required; some college or earneddegree helpful Professional, friendly demeanor Ability to workregularly in a fast-paced, retail setting Solid computer skills andthe ability to learn new software Reliable; solid work ethicPhysically capable of regularly lifting, unassisted, 50 lbs. andworking daily in unconditioned air (warehouse) or outside whilefilling customer cylinders Desire to work M-F from 8-5 withoccasional overtime particularly ahead of and during our peakwinter demand time of year Pass pre-employment background check,drug screening, and other pre-employment steps •Our office remainsbusy throughout the year so someone who is friendly with solidorganizational skills will be needed to help ensure success in thisposition. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with companypolicy, is also important. Competitive hourly pay will depend onprior experience.
