Flexible Job Summary The HR and Administration Manager is responsible for ensuring that our operations remain people-focused, strategic, and efficient. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing HR functions while also managing key administrative tasks. This includes driving the implementation and adoption of HR programs, managing data integrity and analytics, and supporting the organization through periods of growth and change. This position will work closely with leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions, ensuring the best outcomes for our employees and business operations. Additionally, the role includes supporting administrative operations, maintaining smooth workflows and organizational efficiency. II. Essential Job Functions Job Activities Collaborate with department leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective talent management and workforce planning. Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, proactively identifying trends and addressing potential challenges to improve workplace dynamics. Serve as an advisor to managers and employees on HR processes, performance management, career development, compensation, and organizational change. Ensure adherence to HR policies, practices, and employment laws, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations specific to industrial environments. Analyze HR data and provide insights to leadership, using trends and metrics to influence business decisions and improve workforce management. Act as a go-to resource for production and administrative employees, addressing concerns and ensuring HR services are accessible and responsive. Partner with leadership and other departments to implement HR programs, employee engagement strategies, and ongoing initiatives. Work with managers to set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and promote a high-performance culture that encourages accountability and growth. Identify employee development opportunities and collaborate with Management on succession planning, training, and leadership development initiatives. Analyze and review current HR and administrative processes, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and employee satisfaction. Oversee the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs across the facility, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Lead employee engagement, retention, and recognition efforts by facilitating regular communication and feedback, both on-site and via virtual platforms. Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including office management, records, scheduling, and coordination of payroll with the finance department. Department Responsibilities Arrives punctually for work, adhering to company attendance policy. Demonstrates proper care and respect for company property. Attends meetings and training sessions as directed by the management team. Remains up-to-date on Human Resources trends. Upholds all company policies and procedures. Promptly notifies management of any customer complaints, comments, or issues. Communicates issues or suggestions to the management team for resolution and improvement. Adapts professionally and contributes to teamwork to enhance customer experience. Maintains focus and remains on-task throughout the workday. Becomes a professional, valued member of the team with a flexible approach to improving customer experience. Performs other job-related duties as directed. Establishes and maintains a good working relationship amongst the team. Education, Experience and Skill Requirements BS in Business or Communications Good communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience as an HR Manager and within Administrative roles or similar. Ability to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergency situations. A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and be able to work well under pressure. Responsible, neat and clean in appearance. Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Prefer to be able to read, write and speak Spanish.
