Tallahassee, FL A Data Warehouse Analyst is needed in the Enterprise InformationManagement group to perform data integration (ETL -Extract-Transform-Load) activities. This resource will work on theClearinghouse to CDW Data Integration project and the CAIS V2 to V3and Generic Assignment Module project for CDW.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for data analysis, data modeling anddata mapping for the Data Warehouse solution of the Core Guidewireproject. The Data Warehouse Data Analyst will work closely with theData Warehouse staff and use their knowledge of the Guidewireapplication, data model, and database to develop data models anddata maps for the Guidewire Data Mart and enterprise DataWarehouse. Candidates may have a background in Business Analysis,Systems Analysis, Data Warehouse Design, and/or Data Warehouse ETL(Extract-Transform-Load) requirements.

Essential Functions:

? Analyzes Guidewire source system data to understand the datastructure, definitions and anomalies. ? Interacts with customers as needed to better define andunderstand the general reporting requirements. ? Interacts with other technical team members to establish DataWarehouse data model requirements and designs. ? Designs data structures, data models and data mappings for theGuidewire Data Mart and an Enterprise Data Warehouse solution. ? Design, develop and publish standard data dictionary reports foreach data model produced. ? Develop data management documentation for communication andeducation to the Business and Information Technologycommunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

? Knowledge of the Guidewire application, data model and datastructures ? Knowledge of Relational, Star Schema and Dimensional databasemodeling techniques. ? Knowledge of Denormalized and Reporting table database modelingtechniques. ? Strong quantitative, data analysis and analytical skills. ? SQL query, SQL DML (Data Manipulation Language) and relationaldatabase design skills. ? Ability to read, interpret and develop Data Flow Diagrams.

Required Education:

? Minimum three years experience with the Guidewire application,data model and data structures ? Minimum two years experience developing data mappings, datamodels and data dictionaries ? Property & Casualty insurance experience is strongly desired, twoyears experience is preferred ? Large data warehouse projects experience is strongly desired, twoyears experience is preferred ? Data modeling tool experience is preferred, such as ERWin,PowerDesigner, or Embarcadero. ? Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, required.
