Job Summary The HRIS Analyst II is a key role on the HRIS team. This position’s primary focus is effective utilization and management of the human resource systems and other systems supported by the HRIS team. The HRIS Analyst provides daily operations support to human resources, managers and employees. This position also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Primary Duties & Responsibilities System Administration (70%) Consults with HR functions to capture business requirements, and determines software and system functional specifications to meet requirements
Designs, configures, tests, validates, documents, and implements new functionality and improvements to existing functionality
Identifies, recommends and implements ongoing process/customer service improvements to increase systems and processes efficiency, data integrity, and/or level of support
Consults with users in diagnosing and resolving problems; performs root cause analysis, identifies and executes solutions, and escalates issues when necessary
Maintains and executes audit controls, ensuring data integrity for the entire HRIS system
Oversees and administers application level change management and account level change management in SaaS system updates; for account level, includes testing in test environment and promoting to production Operations Support (30%) Prioritizes, and manages daily operations; including both emergent and standard production requests
Delivers efficient, consistent resolution of customer issues with goal of “first-call” resolution
Supports end user and external reporting and data needs
Creates and maintains end user and system documentation Education and Experience Profile Bachelor’s degree in IT, Human Resources or related area or equivalent work experience At least 2 years of experience involving data reporting/analysis or database management Systems experience in Workday preferred but not required Project Management and Change Management experience desired Required Skills This position requires strong technical, collaborative, and problem solving skills that include the ability to create and modify complex Excel worksheets and Access databases. It requires excellent communication and customer support skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining discretion and confidentiality is a must. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
