Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting positions, screening applicants, background checks scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Ensure inclusive hiring practices are embedded in all recruitment efforts. Onboarding & New Employee Experience Lead the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and conducting orientation sessions. Track and manage the New Employee Orientation (NEO) process, ensuring timely completion of required training and materials. Partner with hiring managers to ensure smooth department-level onboarding experiences. Benefits Administration Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits, including medical (AETNA), dental and vision (Mutual of Omaha), EAP (H&H Health), HSA, life insurance, and 403(b) retirement plans through Transamerica. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions. Coordinate with third-party benefit vendors and maintain accurate benefit records. People & Culture Support Promote CHMO’s culture of inclusion, well-being, and respect by supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement. Assist with tracking and maintaining compliance with HR policies and federal/state employment laws. Maintain up-to-date personnel records and support HRIS data integrity. Other Duties Support open enrollment and benefit communication efforts. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of People & Culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in human resources, with emphasis on recruitment, onboarding, or benefits administration. Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals and deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across diverse teams. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. HRIS or ATS experience is strongly preferred.
