Description:
•Anticipated Start Date September 1, 2025• The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. They provide guidance to managers and employees, ensure HR practices align with organizational goals, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Employee Relations:
Contributing to initiatives that foster a positive work environment. Guiding managers in addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Staffing:
Assisting with professional recruitment, including advertising, interviews, selection, and pre-employment and onboarding processes.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers on employee development.
Training:
Provides manager and employee training and development.
Compensation:
Assists with payroll and compensation matters on occasion.
Compliance:
Ensure company’s policies and procedures align with federal, state, and local employment laws, ethical guidelines and regulations.
HR Metrics:
Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making. Able to create internal reports and also those required by local, state and federal agencies.
HRIS:
Maintain accurate employee records and utilize all platforms of the Human Resources Information System (Paylocity).
Benefits Management:
Oversees and manages various aspects of employee insurance coverages ensuring competitiveness, effectiveness and fairness.
Requirements:
Education –
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field required and 8-10 years of related experience in a human resources generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
