Position Overview We are hiring a Resume Sourcer with a core mission to identify, research, and submit qualified candidate profiles for roles in all of our New York State locations. You’ll play a key role in building talent pipelines by uncovering hidden talent, leveraging search tools, and suggesting creative outreach strategies to strengthen our recruiting process. This position will begin as a full-time, temporary hire with the intention of direct employment with Comfort Windows after 90 days. What You’ll Do Conduct targeted searches for candidates using applications such as Indeed, Craigslist, LinkedIn, resume databases, and trade-specific platforms. Identify qualified candidates for roles such as installers, carpenters, project managers, and office personnel. Analyze resumes for industry-specific qualifications and relevant field experience. Present candidate profiles to department managers with clear rationale for fit. Schedule interviews based on the availability of both candidate and hiring managers. Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited roles in the home improvement sector. Suggest creative and innovative sourcing methods (e.g., trade schools, local job fairs, niche job boards, alumni networks). Keep sourcing activity organized and well-documented in the ATS and internal tracking tools. What We Look For 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, talent mapping, or recruiting support—ideally in a skilled trades, construction, or home improvement environment. Strong resume evaluation skills and an understanding of trade-specific terms and certifications. Proficiency in sourcing tools like Indeed Resume, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search methods. Creative thinking when it comes to finding passive candidates and sourcing from unconventional channels. Highly organized and able to manage multiple sourcing requests simultaneously. Accurate recordkeeping of candidates pursued and progress of their consideration for employment. Experience with ADP Workforce Now will be beneficial.
