POSITION SUMMARY
A confidential employer in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of the employee life cycle. This full-time, exempt position will play a key role in maintaining effective HR operations, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and employment matters Support all phases of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, retention, and offboarding Coordinate and conduct interviews, new hire orientations, stay interviews, and exit interviews Administer employee benefits programs, support open enrollment processes, and assist with leave and accommodations Maintain confidential HR files and ensure data accuracy across systems, manuals, and internal records Assist in performance management processes and compensation-related updates Contribute to the development and tracking of employee training and development initiatives Address employee relations concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion Compile reports to support HR compliance and strategic planning Represent the company at external HR and career events as needed Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal committees Collaborate on special projects that promote operational improvement and workplace culture
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2-5 years of HR Generalist or comparable experience Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and HR compliance practices Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or payroll/benefit platforms (e.g., ADP) a plus Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team High level of confidentiality and professionalism in all matters HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
