This role supports Business Leaders to mobilize effective and forward-thinking people solutions by providing end-to-end integrated talent support and utilizing growing functional and business knowledge to tailor programs and solutions. The HR Business Partner role is future-facing: HRBPs are thoughtful about the organization’s future, and they assist business leaders, and HR leaders in building the capabilities that MetLife’s talent needs today and will need in the future. They use data and insights to understand trends, uncover issues and needs, influence leaders, and support decision-making. They hold themselves to high standards and are passionate about having a positive impact on the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide forward-thinking HR advice and support to leaders Design and execute plans to support leaders on organizational design, job or role design, workforce development and other initiatives that enable strategic goals Use data and insights to understand trends, uncover issues and support decision making Leverage business insights and talent expertise to mobilize the right solutions for the business / market Partner with HR Coordinators and all HR COE’s to achieve business and enterprise goals Provide detailed advice and planning for annual compensation reviews Work with business leaders and managers to implement impactful talent programs Oversee large-scale talent programs and initiatives to prepare MetLife’s talent for the organization’s future Partner across the organization to bring the company’s collective talent to projects and initiatives Participate in special projects as requested
Skills & Requirements Required Skills and Experience:
- 10 years of experience minimum as an HR business partner, with a mix of strategic and tactical HR experiences.
- Preferred to have someone who has developed their career in the HR space from operational to strategic positions.
- Has familiarity with various HR disciplines and specializations. Recruiting, HR operations, talent management, employee relations, etc.
- Must demonstrate strong experience and proficiency in excel
- advanced. Someone who is comfortable with large datasets and being able to manipulate data whether by formula, arrays, pivot tables, etc. Must be able to navigate proficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to use PowerPoint efficiently and create high level presentations.
- Must be experienced working with senior leaders and challenging them when necessary.
