Are you a seasoned Human Resources leader passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for employees? Seneca Place, a leading skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Verona, PA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Director to join our compassionate team. At Seneca Place, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents and fostering a thriving workplace culture for our valued staff. As HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our human resources strategies and ensuring the well-being of our employees.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organizational goals of Seneca Place. Oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HRIS. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with leadership to identify and address workforce planning needs. Implement and manage training and development programs for all staff. Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decisions and improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) highly desirable. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in an HR leadership role, preferably within a healthcare or skilled nursing facility setting. Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive organizational success. Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills. Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Why Seneca Place?
