Job Description

Human Resource Manager 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 1033 W Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19403 The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations at the facility, reporting directly to the Executive Director with a dotted-line to the Corporate HR Director. This role includes managing onboarding, credentialing, employee relations, compliance, and supporting organizational goals through effective HR leadership. MUST have 2 years experience in a healthcare setting!

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the on-site HR leader, ensuring all human resources activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards Act as a strategic partner to the Executive Director and department heads to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture Personally manage the full onboarding process for all employees, including clinical, administrative, and support staff Coordinate and manage full-cycle onboarding, from offer letter to Day 1 orientation Prepare and send offer letters and ensure timely collection of signed documents Conduct employment verifications and reference checks Process and monitor background checks, including criminal, OIG, child abuse, and drug screening Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed (licenses, certifications, TB test, physicals, etc.) Collect and verify all onboarding paperwork and I-9 documentation Oversee provider credentialing processes: initial appointments, reappointments, and updates Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management Collaborate with Corporate HR on policy updates, benefits administration, payroll processes, and system changes Maintain personnel files, credentialing records, and HR documentation Ensure compliance with mandatory trainings, licensure tracking, health screenings, and onboarding requirements Participate in hospital leadership meetings and contribute to workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required); HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a healthcare setting Demonstrated ability to manage HR independently in a mid-sized organization or facility Knowledge of provider credentialing processes and healthcare regulatory requirements Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
