Director of Finance and Human Resources Northside Church/Northside Christian Academy Lexington, SC 29072 Northside Church/Northside Christian Academy is dedicated to providing a Christ-centered ministry and education to our community. Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Director of Finance and Human Resources to oversee HR functions and financial operations for both the church and the academy. This vital role requires a blend of compassion, discretion, and strong administrative and financial acumen to support our staff, faculty, and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions. Manage monthly financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and budgeting. Prepare financial statements and assist in annual audits. Monitor cash flow, assist in financial planning, and ensure proper stewardship of resources. Coordinate with external accountants and vendors as needed.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance evaluations, and offboarding. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and policies. Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management. Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and employee relations. Uphold and promote a Christ-centered work environment aligned with the values of the church and academy.

Qualifications:

Experience in both HR and finance/accounting roles required. Strong understanding of nonprofit or church financial practices preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Personal commitment to Christian faith and values.
