Human Resource Manager 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 961 Us Route 2, Montpelier, VT 05602 Red Hen Baking Company Human Resources Manager The Human Resource Manager at Red Hen Baking Company is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and overseeing Red Hen’s personnel relationships. The person in this role is the hub for management and all RHB employees. This is a salaried position with an expectation that the workload will require an average of 30 hours per week. Hiring and onboarding Lead recruitment efforts Support managers in setting up interviews, stages and reference checks Onboard and off board all employees Manage all benefit enrollment Administration Process payroll Maintain RHB staff manuals Lead employee evaluation process Process and manage workers’ compensation claims Instruct and support managers and their shift leads in communicating RHB policies to staff Compliance and reporting Ensure compliance with labor laws. Review personnel policies as necessary to adjust to legal and employment market changes Manage RHB benefits and wellness programs (Insurance, retirement accounts, shoes, shirts, yoga, Duolingo, bikes, massage, PT, MH) Serve as a primary liaison between the company, staff, and 3rd party HR vendors Serve as a key HR resource and liaison for employee incidents, concerns, and feedback Support management with benefits package assessment Maintain regular HR reporting

Requirements:

Independent worker with a positive, problem-solving, solution-oriented disposition Strong computer skills, esp. Microsoft Office Knowledge of Vermont Labor laws Ability to maintain confidentiality with personnel and company information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must appreciate good bread!
