Admissions Recruiter 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 750 Montgomery Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA, a leader among the nation’s independent, two-year colleges, has an immediate opening for a Partnership Sites Admissions Recruiter. Reporting to the Executive Director of Partnership Sites, this position focuses mainly on travel recruitment for all of our Partnership Sites. This position would be responsible for conducting in person and virtual presentations along with attending Site recruitment events, college and career fairs, as well as establishing relationships with local organizations. The candidate will be energetic and professional working as part of the Partnership Sites team. The role also may help in achieving enrollment goals by outreach and recruitment strategies, building relationships, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.

Responsibilities :

Planning, managing, and conducting recruitment and counseling activities in a specific geographic territory. Developing and implementing strategic plans for the recruiting territory using basic research skills with web and PC-based technologies. Recruitment traveling including but not limited to community events, career and college fairs. Establishing and developing organization relationships. Assisting in the organization and coordination of New Student Orientation and other Bryn Mawr campus events. Participating in on and off-campus functions designed to meet application and enrollment goals. Collaborate with partnership, admissions and marketing staff on outreach strategies, promotional materials, and social media engagement. Promote and support the mission, values, and diversity interests of the institution in recruitment efforts. Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of Partnership Sites dependent on the experience of the individual chosen and the needs of the office.

Qualifications/Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership skills required. Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills related to program/project management essential. A valid driver’s license required. Knowledge of Powercampus and Microsoft Office is helpful. College degree desirable, or equivalent combination of experience and college level coursework. 90% daytime and evening travel. Also, some weekends are required.

The College offers associate degrees in allied health, business and social science, as well as certificates and a variety of continuing studies programs. Founded in 1915, it was the first college in Pennsylvania to offer the associate degree. Today Harcum has career-informed degree programs on its Bryn Mawr Campus, located west of Philadelphia, programs online and at Partnership Sites throughout the region, serving approximately 1,000 students.
