Professional Development Coach (CLASS – My Teaching Partner) – Grant Funded Robeson Community College (NC) Fayetteville, NC JOB The coach is primarily responsible for overseeing all Professional Development Services. Key duties include recruiting early childhood teachers for participation in My Teaching Partner (MTP) coaching, planning and conducting training sessions, and scheduling participants on a two-week cycle. The coach will also handle quarterly and annual reporting for the Robeson County Partnership for Children. Additionally, the coach will receive training in the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and MTP coaching and utilize CLASS tools and MTP coaching to support eligible early childhood teachers.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Recruiting early childhood teachers for participation in My Teaching Partner (MTP)Coaching, planning and conducting training sessions, and scheduling participants on a two week cycle.

Coordinate and monitor the activities of the Professional Development Services grant, including implementing MTP coaching with selected participants.

Obtain and maintain certification on the CLASS tool(s)Utilize MTP coaching and the CLASS tool for the professional development of selected early childhood participants.

Travel to and from early childhood facilities for coaching process as required.

Monitorthebudgetandassistwithanybudgetrevisionsoramendmentsforthegrantthat may be required throughout the fiscal year.

Coordination of the Early Childhood Committee meeting with UNC-Pembroke, Robeson CountyPartnershipforChildrenandselectedchildcaredirectorstwiceayear.

EvaluatetheactivityandcompletequarterlyreportsasrequiredbytheRobesonCounty Partnership for Children.

Revise/write new grant applications every three years as required by the Robeson County Partnership for Children.
