This fully digital system allows parkers to enter and exit gated facilities using their smartphone, with no app or pre-registration required.​ The solution incorporates advanced MMC License Plate Recognition (LPR) that allows repeat customers to access the facility automatically by just pulling up to the gate. Collection of revenues is tied to their digital account, which is billed automatically as a vehicle exits the parking facility. The integration of LPR and mobile technology creates a frictionless parking experience with extremely reliable revenue collection. 1. Role Summary The Parking Operator Advancement and Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing workforce development initiatives for parking operations staff. This includes creating structured training programs, developing career advancement pathways, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across parking facilities. 2. Core Responsibilities A. Workforce Training Development Manage comprehensive onboarding programs for parking operators.

Provide standardized training content covering:

Parking equipment operation (kiosks, payment systems, access control). Customer service and conflict resolution. Safety and incident response procedures. Technology platforms (mobile apps, validation systems, license plate recognition).

Deliver training through:

In-person sessions. E-learning modules. Hands-on, on-site practical training. B. Advancement & Career Pathways Establish mentorship programs for skill development. Collaborate with HR to align training with promotion criteria. Monitor employee performance and readiness for advancement. C. Operational & Safety Standards Ensure all staff meet or exceed operational expectations related to garage operations Conduct periodic operational assessments to identify training gaps. D. Certification & Compliance Maintain training records and certifications Ensure compliance with local regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards. Prepare staff for potential external audits or inspections. E. Metrics & Reporting Track and report on: Training completion rates. Staff performance improvements. Internal promotion rates. Reduction in incidents and customer complaints. Use data to continuously improve training programs. 3. Required Skills and Qualifications Skill/Qualification Details Industry Knowledge Experience in workforce management, managing customer relationships, and/or hospitality management. Training Development Ability to deliver and manage technical and soft skills training. Leadership Experience motivating, coaching, and advancing front-line staff. Regulatory Awareness Familiarity with ADA, safety codes, and city parking regulations. Technology Fluency Comfortable with parking technology platforms (e.g., PARCS, mobile apps, LPR systems). Communication Requires native-speaker fluency in verbal and written skills in Spanish and English. Analytical Mindset Skilled in using data to track workforce development and operational improvements. 4.

Ideal Background Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Training & Development, Business, Urban Mobility, or related fields).

Experience:

0-2 years in parking operations, workforce development, or hospitality management.

Certifications:

Training & Development certifications (e.g., CPTM – Certified Professional in Training Management) are a plus.
