Position Summary We’re seeking a compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented Direct Support Professional / Job Coach to join our Day Program team. In this role, you will support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through structured activities, skill-building, and meaningful community engagement. You will also serve as a Job Coach , providing on-site employment support to participants in our Supported Employment Program. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who’s creative, collaborative, and passionate about helping others achieve greater independence. Key Responsibilities Daily Program Support Lead and assist individuals with planned group activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, reading, exercise, and vocational skill-building. Facilitate and supervise community outings and ensure participant safety at all times. Help develop and implement daily and monthly activity schedules with your team. Employment Coaching Provide on-the-job support and coaching to participants working in the community. Monitor and document progress toward vocational goals. Build and maintain positive relationships with employers and coworkers. Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate goal-tracking and progress notes. Collaborate with support teams to evaluate and improve participant outcomes. Communicate effectively with participants, families, and community partners. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma required; college coursework or degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to assess individual strengths, challenges, and vocational needs. A positive, flexible attitude and a collaborative mindset. Must be creative, dependable, and passionate about making a difference. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (you will drive a company vehicle).
