Bonus What You’llDo:

Supervise and coordinate center activities to ensure a safe,structured, and supportive student environment. Work with staffmembers to promote positive student behavior and engagement.

Monitor campus safety, respond to incidents, and enforce policies.

Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them developlife and career skills. Work collaboratively with differentdepartments to maintain a productive and goal-oriented atmosphere.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providingproper guidance to students to ensure positive group livingrelations and achievement in the Job Corps program.

MANAGEMENT &SUPERVISION N/A RESPONSIBILITIES

o Provide guidance for students toachieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory livingsituation and to accomplish their goals and objectives. oDetermine, recommend, and arrange student visits to counselor. oAssist in unit activities, as designated, including unitgovernment. o Patrol and monitor dormitories and center as requiredensuring safety and proper behavior of students; resolve potentialor occurring problems. o Prepare the daily operations report, passlist, and other administrative correspondence relating to students.o Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of thedormitory. o Recommend or requisition supplies to provide needs fordorm living and safety of students. o Maintain dormitory andindividual student files; ensure files are complete, updated andcontain all required documentation. o Enter student case notes inthe center information system. o Participate in career developmentservices system by ensuring a safe living environment and creatingpositive peer leadership role modeling techniques within the dorm.o Provide guidance, counseling, group sessions and independentliving skills. o It is expected the incumbent will work overtimewhen directed to do so. o Regular and predictable attendance isrequired. o Provide positive, quality customer services tostudents, staff and other center customers. o Support, promote, andenforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy. o Promote thedevelopment of career success standards by modeling appropriatebehaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring bothpositive and negative behaviors through interventions. o Otherduties as assigned. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

HighSchool Diploma or equivalent

REQUIRED

Advanced degrees preferred. Aminimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experiencerequired. A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred. Physicalrequirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting,pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.

Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability toassess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.”Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
