Summary As a Caregiver/Companion at Right At Home, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential in-home support. This position is key to helping seniors and disabled adults live comfortably and independently in their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including HIPAA regulations. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and happiness. Communicate effectively with family members regarding client needs and progress. Requirements Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or related fields is preferred. Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to confidentiality. CPR certification is required; additional certifications are a plus. Ability to assist with medication administration as needed. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
