Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties:

• Provide direct support to individuals in their homes or nursing home settings
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
• Monitor and report any changes in the individual’s condition or behavior to the nurse or supervisor
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
• Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the care plan
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and medication administration is a plus
• First Aid and CPR certification is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others Shift will be Sundays 8am-2pm
