Bradenton, FL 34205 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and empathy, making it a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about helping others. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Uphold resident rights and ensure dignity is maintained at all times. Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or disabilities, adapting approaches as needed. Qualifications Certification in CPR is preferred. Experience in medication administration is highly desirable. Previous experience in caregiving or working in a nursing home setting is an asset. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively. Familiarity with caring for individuals with autism or other disabilities is beneficial. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
