Available Schedule The following schedule is currently available: Thursday 3 PM through Monday 3 PM (4 days total) And the following schedule will be available starting May 1, 2025: Monday 3 PM through Thursday 3 PM (3 days total) The client works from home, which is generally in Miami (Brickell). He generally spends his summers away from Miami, splitting time between a suburb of Chicago & a small urban town about 30 minutes from Seattle. Ideally, you would be able to travel with him in the summer. He likes to keep his home fairly warm (24°C/75°F) during the day because he gets cold easily, and he lives with 2 cats. He eats a high-protein diet, and does not eat pork, with the rare exception of bacon. He consumes medicinal grade edible cannabis with varying frequency, and only rarely consumes some alcohol. Since December 2024, the client has committed himself to a protein rich diet and a rigorous strength training program with an ex-military personal trainer. He is very happy that he has been noticing small, significant improvements in his physical independence, and hopes that will continue. The client has an underlying neurological condition which caused him to need a powered/electric wheelchair since the age of 15. He had a lot of physical independence when he was younger, as he was able to drive and live on his own, and unfortunately he became a bit too consumed with work and neglected to take care of his body properly. As mentioned, he uses a powered/electric wheelchair full-time because he cannot walk. He has very weak arm/legs, so he has difficulty caring for himself, and his core balance is limited, so it’s important to be very cautious when moving him so that he does not fall and injure himself (we will teach you the routines and procedures in place to prevent this). The client speaks English & Urdu fluently, speaks Spanish with a little difficulty, and he can understand Hindi & some Gujarati. He enjoys exercising, working on a variety of projects, standup comedy, EDM music, learning new things, experimenting with food, occasionally dining out, and being around family & friends. Having had caregiver support since 2015, he is comfortable working with many different types of people. His preference is for someone who is very punctual, communicates proactively, multitasks effectively (even being one step ahead of him) and exceptionally thorough in their work (details are very important) . He prefers that you dress clean & comfortable

  • scrubs or uniforms could be acceptable per his discretion (he would need to review or select).

He has formed good friendships with many of his former caregiver/assistants, and what they have all had in common has been their ability to focus on the work at hand and complete it at a high caliber, which enabled the client to relax and be more interested in social conversations.
