Direct Care-PCA’s:

Residents within the BHN Developmental Services programs can self-hire for PCA’s to support them with the following task: Personal Care Cooking Cleaning Laundry Errands, Transportation Social events PCA’s needed in West Springfield and Northampton Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families, and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities. The Developmental Services Program assists residents with finding private pay personal care assistants to further individual skills and autonomy. Please note this is a role not affiliated with BHN directly and BHN acts as a liaison for the residents within our program directly. Qualifications/Requirements PCA’S supporting Developmental Services Residents have the following qualities: Able to pass a state and national background check (Required) Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with diverse population Consistent attention to detail in completion of tasks. Ability to support and empower individuals with varying abilities.
