Home Health Caregiver NuCare Team Home Care Agency Wellesley, MA 02482 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors or those requiring assistance due to health challenges. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients while promoting their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social activities. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques and patient observation skills are essential. CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe living environment. Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is advantageous but not mandatory.
