Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our second shift care team. The PCA will assist residents with daily living activities, ensure their comfort and safety, and support their overall well-being in accordance with their individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal hygiene including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition Maintain clean and safe living environments for residents Document care provided and maintain accurate records Collaborate with nursing and other staff to provide quality care
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a state-approved PCA or caregiver training program preferred Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Shift Details:
Second shift hours are typically 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Weekend and holiday availability may be required
