As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Provide patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Offer direct support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly in memory care settings. Assist residents in group homes with personal care tasks while maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Foster a positive relationship with clients, their families, and other staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols while providing care.
