un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Home Care Agency needs HHA to work case in Staten Island (Staten Island) compensation: $20 a hour employment type: job title: Home Health Aide (HHA) Our company is looking to hire compassionate, dependable, respectful, patient HHAs to work on cases. We are currently in need of HHAs to work a live-in case, 3-4 days a week in Staten Island, NY. We are currently staffing for this case, so you will need to apply asap, if interested.
MUST HAVE
- Valid Original HHA certificate

- Valid Identification for E-verify
- At least two references (3 preferred, 2 must be professional)
- Physical/PPD/ Drug Screen not older than 6 months Requirements
- Qualifications Successful completion of a NYS Department of Health approved Home Health Aide training program as demonstrated by a valid Home Health Aide Certificate One (1) year satisfactory experience in Home Care, desired.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English sufficiently to understand and interpret the HHA Plan of Care, document care provided on the HHA Time and Activity report and able to call agency to report change and/or issues related to the patient and/or 911 in case of emergency. Dependability, strong assessment, organizational, interpersonal communication and listening skills A mature caregiver that has compassion for senior citizens. Responsibilities
- Duties Some duties and responsibilities of the HHA may include: Supervise clients’ condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output.
Maintain client by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks. Assist with bathing and grooming of patients. Assist client with self-administered, oral medications that have been ordered by the medical practitioner. Preserve a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all company standards and procedures; maintaining security precautions; following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
