The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including inpatient care, clinics, and trauma centers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their mental well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Skills Experience in inpatient settings or clinics is preferred; familiarity with hospital medicine is a plus. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols is beneficial. Understanding of geriatric care principles to effectively support elderly clients. Ability to work in high-pressure environments such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers. Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
