As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care in a home health setting. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to observe and respond to the needs of those you care for. Duties Provide direct support and care to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Observe and document changes in clients’ conditions, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry. Support clients with memory care needs, engaging them in activities that promote cognitive function and emotional well-being. Ensure adherence to resident rights, fostering an atmosphere of respect and dignity. Perform first aid as necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies or medical situations. Assist with heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used for client safety. Experience Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and understanding of resident rights is beneficial. Skills in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs are a plus. A compassionate demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including heavy lifting and mobility assistance.
