Job Summary We are looking for compassionate and dedicated
PT/PER DIEM
Caregivers to join our team to provide exceptional support to individuals in need. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients by delivering personalized care and assistance in settings such as private homes and assisted living facilities. As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include supporting clients with daily activities, monitoring their health, and promoting their overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals. Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life. Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all living areas are tidy and organized. Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care is provided. Document care provided and any changes in the client’s condition accurately. Skills Strong cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences. Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable. Ability to provide compassionate care tailored to individual client needs. Proficient in measuring vital signs and understanding basic health monitoring techniques. Knowledge of developing and implementing effective care plans for various conditions. Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with hospice care practices and providing end-of-life support is beneficial. Background in social work can enhance the ability to connect with clients on a deeper level. Understanding of dementia care techniques to support clients experiencing cognitive decline.
