Caregiver Caregivers on Demand LLC Belle Vernon, PA 15012 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and those with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities while ensuring their dignity and rights are upheld. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping tasks. Lift and transfer residents safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and personal growth. Ensure compliance with resident rights and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA regulations. Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate staff members. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional support. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or nursing homes is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility challenges. Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them in daily interactions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
