We proudly serve Mercer, Lawrence, Venango, Crawford, and Butler Counties in Pennsylvania. Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities and elderly individuals. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to the appropriate personnel. Ensure the safety and comfort of clients during care activities. Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity. Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a clean living environment. Adhere to all resident rights policies and ensure respectful treatment of all clients. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting when necessary. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and caregiving best practices. Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus but not required.
