In Home Caregiver Gated Hearts llc Scottdale, PA 15683 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they assist, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. This role is vital in offering personalized care, including assistance with daily living activities and monitoring health conditions. Duties Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor patient health by observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management. Assist with memory care strategies for clients experiencing cognitive decline. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and hospice care teams, to implement care plans effectively. Document patient observations and care provided accurately. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as group home or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration is essential. Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patient conditions. Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting client privacy and dignity. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of application. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
