Goodlettsville, TN 37070 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client, including those with specific health conditions such as dementia or autism. Duties Provide direct support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene. Prepare nutritious meals according to care plans and dietary restrictions. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or autism, adapting approaches as necessary. Support hospice care needs when required, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation and dietary needs for various health conditions. Familiarity with developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe environment for clients. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
